Changes to the Tournament format for 2017
« on: June 24, 2017, 10:28:13 AM »
The 13th Annual TKAA Kayak Fish for Charity Tournament has made a few changes this year!

#1 - We have abolished the 50 mile radius rule! Fish wherever you want but be in line by 4:00 to submit your fish or be disqualified!!

#2 - There will be no minimum length to enter your fish!

#3 - Youth division will be judged by the biggest fish no matter what it is! Any species salt or fresh water!!!

#4 - Hog Troughs will be an approved measuring device for this years Tournament. You will need to bring in for verification if your fish places or wins. (or you can use the ones we provide).

First 125 anglers registered will receive Hobie Premium Captains Bags!

Fish wherever you want - does this include private launches or is this still publicly accessible launch points only? (no launching from Aunt Judy's house on the rivah)

Joe, it still has to be publically accessible. The only change is the radius. If you want to fish in Bristol, go for it, just be in line by check in time. ;)

What are the rules for the kids division?

Can Wyatt sit on the front of my kayak?

Next.

Is this a largest fish division - no matter the species?

Next

Can I use my phone for his pictures?

Thx.
