I just moved to the Great Neck area (stationed in Ft Story) and I'm a big into freshwater kayak fishing. I'm looking to get into inshore/ offshore and will be looking to pick up a faster yak next spring (looking at the Kraken 13.5).

Currently, I've fished the Northwest River and Back Bay.  Any other put in spots in the area?  Any advice any of you may have would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance for your time.

For everything fresh water, below is a great web site with a bunch of info and Charlie posts his trip reports.

There are a ton of freshwater fishing locations and many are off the beaten path so to speak.  As for Inshore/Offshore, TKAA has some good info and the saltwater fishing will be heating up as the weather cools down.

Glad I came across this. I'll keep this in mind as well.
