Slime darts
« on: September 10, 2017, 01:53:06 PM »
Tried Crystal Lake this morning in an effort to avoid the wind.  Found some wind protection, but not many bass, three to be exact, but nothing over 12 inches.  Did manage a decent Crappie and three small "Slime Darts".  Double bladed spinner bait seemed to be what they wanted.   Haven't caught a Chain Pick since early spring, nice surprise.   Note to self, when launching in the dark, don't forget your sunglasses!
