Boater Safety Course requests
« on: November 25, 2017, 12:53:10 PM »
Is there any interest in a boater safety course?  It would be held in an area common to the majority of the people interested.  It is 8 hrs long.  There is a written test.  The course is free and fulfills the Virginia Boater Safety requirements (This is the DGIF course and is taught by DGIF and VMRC instructors) for the operation of a powered vessel.  Was thinking about conducting one in February and willing to travel just about anyplace in the state to conduct it.

If your interested let me know in this forum and give a general city in which your located.  If there appears to be enough interested I will put out more information and the sign up page.

Again, this course is free...

I'm interested. My preference is Virginia Beach but would travel as far as Williamsburg.

FYI:  I do have one already set up January 20th at Beaverdam in Gloucester.

Keep the requests soming in and I am working on at least two more classes.  One may be in Henrico area and another near VA each.  That all depends on the amount of interest.
