need help- lost hobie seat
« on: June 05, 2018, 08:18:59 AM »
Let my neighbor and their kids take our my Tandem hobie- Long story short- they managed to tip over and lose one of my vantage seats. (my fault for not having it clipped in for them)

Im wondering if a good Fish finder would be able to pick it up on the scan?  Unfortunatly I do not have one...

Anyone have any recommendations and or willing to take a couple passes with a down scan :)  GB Locks.

Appreciate any advice or help!     New seat would set me back $500. Lesson learned...

I think it depends how deep the water is. My Lowarance DSI can pick up shapes pretty clearly. How deep was the water? At that price maybe invest in a mask and some flippers :D

Its in or right next to the channel (my guess) would be 8-16ft.    I would probably try with an anchor.  If it ends up being 10ft or less I would dive down.
