Stumpy Lake
« on: June 01, 2019, 09:28:20 PM »
I just seen this in a kayak launch site locator. (Stumpy Lake), it is a fresh water deal with limited parking but it looks good. Has anyone fished there and have a ball park of what to fish for?

Stumpy can be very good.    Shallow.   Easy launch but closes before sunset,  time posted seasonally.

Standard local variety of bass, Carp, crappie and white perch.    Plastics to the base of cypress works well.  Any variety of craw or worm, experiment with colors, but I find darker ones work best (blue black, green pumpkin).

In my experiance, they are either on and the fishing is good, or I get skunked with nary a nibble.   Very hit n miss of me there.
